Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé (X290) (X290)

The X290 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupé extended the AMG GT sports-car franchise into a four-door body — a performance flagship that blended supercar styling cues with the practicality of a full-size saloon.

The range runs from the six-cylinder GT 43 and GT 53 models with EQ Boost hybrid assistance to the V8-powered GT 63 and GT 63 S, the latter using AMG's M177 twin-turbo V8 and multi-clutch transmission. All share the GT family's wide stance and low roofline, translated into a four-door package with genuine rear-seat accommodation.

Launched in 2018, the X290 remains in production as AMG's answer to the Porsche Panamera and other high-performance four-doors. It is the road-car Baureihe most directly descended from the AMG GT sports program — a four-door with supercar intent.
