The C590 turns the second AMG GT 4-Door into something its V8 predecessor never tried to be: the first production car on AMG.EA, electric from the architecture upward and engineered around repeatable rather than merely spectacular power.
At the center are 2,660 directly oil-cooled cylindrical cells, grouped into 18 modules for 106 kWh usable capacity at 800 volts. The GT 55 and GT 63 place two YASA-derived axial-flux motors at the rear and a disconnectable third at the front. Their compact disc-shaped motors deliver 600 and 860 kW peak, while the GT 63 can hold 530 kW continuously. The fastest version reaches 100 km/h in 2.4 seconds without rollout and 300 km/h with the Driver’s Package.
Performance is only half the architecture. Direct cell cooling and a Central Coolant Hub support up to 600 kW DC charging, 10–80 per cent in eleven minutes and as much as 700 km WLTP in the tri-motor cars. Announced on 6 August, the dual-motor GT 53 trades peak output for efficiency: 400 kW, a two-speed rear drive unit and more than 800 km provisional range. Orders for the 55 and 63 opened on 27 May; GT 53 German sales are scheduled for 13 August, with series production in Sindelfingen from summer 2026.

Every model.
Dual-motor GT 53 and tri-motor GT 55 and GT 63 — all electric, all-wheel drive and built around the same 106 kWh battery.
