A seven-seat Mercedes-Benz on a front-wheel-drive compact platform — the GLB fits three rows into 4.63 meters, and the third row is not entirely notional.
Launched in 2019, the X247 uses M282 and M260 turbocharged petrol fours and OM654 diesels with 7G-DCT and 8G-DCT transmissions, with 4MATIC optional and the AMG GLB 35 topping the range at 306 PS.
Its upright, boxy shape deliberately echoes the G-Class, and the all-electric EQB shares the same body.
