Mercedes-Benz C-Class Sedan (W206) (W206)

The W206 dropped six- and eight-cylinder engines entirely: every C-Class is now a four, including the AMG.

In production since March 2021, it uses M254 and M264 turbo fours with 48-volt assistance and an OM654 diesel, with plug-in hybrids offering around a hundred kilometers of electric range. The C 63 S E PERFORMANCE replaces the V8 with a 500 kW petrol-electric four-cylinder driveline derived from Formula 1 practice.

Inside, the 11.9-inch portrait touchscreen and MBUX interface come down from the S-Class, and rear-axle steering appears on a C-Class for the first time.
