Every W214 is electrified — mild hybrid at minimum, plug-in at the top — so there is no unassisted combustion engine anywhere in the range.
Revealed in April 2023 and built at Sindelfingen from May, it pairs M254 fours and M256 sixes with 48-volt integrated starter-generators, adds plug-in hybrids with roughly 100 kilometers of electric range, and offers the MBUX Superscreen spanning the full width of the dashboard.
The estate followed later in 2023 and an All-Terrain variant returned, continuing the E-Class as the marque’s executive volume car.
