E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL gives the V167 something no rival could match at launch: the ability to raise and drop each wheel individually, levelling the body through corners and freeing itself when stuck.
In production since October 2018, it added a third row of seats to the GLE for the first time and uses M256 mild-hybrid straight-sixes, M176 and M177 V8s and OM654 and OM656 diesels, including the GLE 350 de plug-in diesel hybrid with roughly a hundred kilometers of electric range.
Built at Tuscaloosa on the MHA platform, it is the largest GLE yet and gave rise to the C167 coupé.
