Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV (X253) (X253)

The GLK’s boxy charm gave way to something rounder, longer and far more popular — the GLC became the best-selling Mercedes-Benz of any kind.

Built from 2015 on the MRA platform, the X253 offered M270 and M274 turbo fours, the M276 twin-turbo V6 of the GLC 43 and AMG’s 4.0-liter M177 in the GLC 63, with OM651 and OM654 diesels and a GLC 350 e plug-in hybrid. AIR BODY CONTROL air suspension was on the options list.

Production ran to 2022; the C253 coupé joined it in 2016.
